The author takes us along for a second stroll through his beloved adopted home country, Britain. His love for the beauty and size of Britain shines through every page. Even when he is ranting about some person or governmental idiocy, it is with humor and a wish to preserve the English way. I enjoyed the book immensely. I read reviews that indicated he was becoming a curmudgeonly old man. Well, maybe so, but he is a curmudgeon with a great sense of humor and an ability to write a most engaging book.

I like my curmudgeons ... As long as they come with a sense of humor. Been meaning to read this...
