I have a few pet peeves. One is ‘baby bump’ to describe a lady’s condition. I’m not the only one who isn’t too keen on that expression. Even a few younger people I know take exception, especially one who is pregnant and is sick and tired of hearing the term.
My heart goes out to the people in Venezuela, I hope something can be done for them soon.
I read yesterday about the lawyer who runs a Vietnam Vets charity (who is driving a Rolls Royce) whose so called charity has only been giving 2 percent of the millions collected. Two percent to the people who need it? Atrocious! They got a ‘0’ from a charity watchdog. You can read about it here: http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/16/politics/vietnam-veterans-charity/ That kind of maniacal greed absolutely astounds me. And the man who runs this ‘charity’ is a lawyer for the Department of Veteran Affairs. So that’s my biggest peeve of the day.
Hope Bandit recovers quickly from his op. I’ll be sending healing energies his way :)
