Global warming has changed the landscape. When I first heard this song in Berkeley calif it was a grey day. Now the temperatures are above 70 and the sun shines too hot. Still love the song
Not every popular song (or once popular) has lyrics that can be read aloud as poetry -- but that one certainly does ! I loved that musical era. And that song. Enough that I forgive you for the 'earworm'!! It's a pleasant one to have.
