What wonderful shots of the bird life in your neck of the woods. I don't recognise the birds in the 4th and 5th photos but they are beautiful and have striking markings. I'm in New Zealand a long way from Galveston - that's the joy of blogging - touching lives across the world! I see you love roses too! Falling you now! Shane
I would like to see the birdlife in Texas some day. We don't have any native birds where we live; avian malaria killed them off; they had no resistance. My sister was thrilled to visit Galveston and said it was an avian paradise.

Love those Gulf birds. And the water and the quiet beach!
