You are so well organized! My menu plan consists of listing four or five dinner entree recipes every couple of weeks, before I do a grocery run. That many dinners last us that long because we often go out with friends or stop for a meal when we're running errands or out birding or beaching or whatever, or we eat leftovers, or tuna salad or something from the freezer that does not require a recipe.

But I never know what days any of those things will happen, so things go in the freezer when I get back from the store.
