Option B by Sheryl Sandberg

Two years ago, while on vacation in Mexico, Sheryl's husband, Dave, unexpectedly died while exercising.  Suddenly, she was a widow with two young children. This book is really two books. It is the story of how she worked through the fog and the grief with the help of family and friends. It is also about how we, as a friend, as a community, as an organization, can support each other in times of overwhelming tragedy and the ensuing grief.
It is definitely a book worth reading because at some time, we all are buffeted by the hard winds of life

My cancer has completely changed our lives. I would say we were pretty careless, not realizing how much we were letting ourselves slip into comfortable but inadequate behaviors. I notice this slackness all around me and ask myself how people think they can afford living in such a risky way, especially taking other people for granted. The full-on emergency that our daily life has become is sure making us pay attention.
