Father's Day

My Father, Capt. William Hart

My father was in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He made the North Atlantic run to keep Britain supplied and to deliver tanks to the Soviets.  He never, ever said a word about his service during the war. It was only after his death that I discovered a Presidential Citation for his rescuing seamen whose ship had been torpedoed. He never said a word.
