I love how eclectic your booklist is. So is mine. I read 82 books in 2011--lots of mysteries (Go, Stephanie Plum!) and science fiction but more provocative tomes as well. Oddly, the two award-winners ("A Visit from the Goon Squad" and "Swamplandia")were not among my favorites. If you haven't read it, I recommend Carolyn Heilbrun's "The Last Gift of Time: Life Beyond Sixty." Right now I'm reading the funny and feminist biologist Marlene Zuk's "Sex on Six Legs." Who knew there was 'insect porn!' Here's to good reading into 2012!
Ladies, I just wanted to say I took Grace's advice and rented 'The Last Gift Of Time' from my library. I started reading it yesterday and it is fab!
THEE prefect book for this time in my life. Thank you Grace!
Any more suggestions?
