Behold, my brothers, the
spring has come; the earth
has received the embraces
of the sun and we shall
soon see the results of that
love!
Every seed has awakened
and so has all animal life.
It is through this
mysterious power that we
too have our being and we
therefore yield to our
neighbors, even our
animal neighbors, the
same right as ourselves, to
inhabit this land.

My husband would love this post. I'm gonna have to call him in once he wakes up so he can view this.
Anything Native American [and Gen. George A. Custer] is his passion.
Anni, I hope he will like it. My husband and I love Native American art and back in th 1970's we bought some baskets, pottery, and sand paintings on our trips to New Mexico and Arizona. They are still lovely.
Yes...he DID enjoy your post. I have several pieces of turquoise jewelry from the hopi and apache from AZ. Also, a couple of Kachina Dolls.
My area in western NY has such a rich Native American cultural history and I have been interested even as a child.... Michelle
I have always loved Native American art but I know so little about the tribes and their culture.
