The first in my stress reducer series was getting control of your finances. The next is noise which is a huge stress inducer. Our ears and nervous system were not designed/evolved to deal with the constant bombardment of noise that can be part of life today. Turn off the blasted television, radio, and i-Pod. Have periods of silence; you may need to start with small periods of silence. Listen for the sounds of birds, the sound of rain or the breeze moving leaves. Be still and listen.
