Butterflies of South Texas, Part III

This is the last group of butterflies from our trip to South Texas right after Thanksgiving. (Next I will post photos of the gorgeous birds.)

  1. All those varieties. How are butterflies doing, as far as numbers go?

  2. We had a couple of days of a hard freeze and most of my blooming plants were killed back so there is nothing for them to feed on. I hope they all went south on the wind currents that brought us the cold weather. 60 miles south of us, the temperature stayed above freezing so they probably could feed there on their way to the Rio Grande Valley.
